The August General Meeting of the Whitwick and District u3a will be on Friday 21st August 2026 – commencing 2.00pm at Whitwick Methodist Church, 10 Hall Lane, Coalville, LE67 5FD (Whitwick end of Hall Lane) The talk this month is “The Water Babies” by Michael Burton This beautiful fairy story has charmed generations of children and adults. The talk explains its effect on the Darwinian evolution debate, advancement of women’s rights and the environment. The u3a is aimed at people who are retired or semi-retired. Pumpkin Patch & Spooky Trail Experience

2026 Pumpkin Patch Back again from the 10th of October we our Pumpkin patch & Spooky trail Experience. Bring the family down to pick your pumpkin from our patch and take advantage of the fun photo points, before taking a wonder through our spooky trail. Suitable for children of all ages with mini wheelbarrows and pumpkins of all sizes. This event is partially outdoors, so sensible footwear is advised along with gloves for handling the pumpkins.
